Hello There! My name is Piper and I am a young female Border Collie with Best Friends of Baker, Inc. in Baker City, Oregon. My sibling Ellie and I were both found stranded in a mountain pass, hunkered down on a pile of snow when a very nice woman stopped and took us home with her. I was scared to death, but not afraid to get in a warm car and go to the home of a professional dog trainer where we are being very well cared for. I am approximately 6 months old. I am quite a bit under weight and saw a veterinarian for a well check, wormed and vaccinated. I have long black and white hair with a beautiful wihte bib. I can't tell you much about my personality or training as I am still too scared from my experience. I had a bath a couple of days ago, which petrified me, but it sure felt nice to be clean and dry off lying in front of the wood stove. As I said before, I am in the home of a professional dog trainer and I am sure that I will come out of this experience as a well trained, perfect mannered dog ready to go to a wonderful adoptive home. I do require a secure fenced yard and want to be a family pet living inside with my family, not living outside looking in. I will be spayed prior to my adoption. Please call Best Friends of Baker at 541-519-7387 for more information. WE DO NOT TEXT, BUT WILL RETURN ALL PHONE CALLS AND RESPOND TO ALL COMPLETED APPLICATIONS.
