Hello there!!!My name is Dusty Daisy and I am a petite female Border Collie mix that was found on the freeway outside of Baker City.  I was placed in a foster home with a young couple and their young black Labrador Retriever.  We live next to an elementary school where I love to watch the kids run and play with their balls.  I just wish that I could go over there and play with them.   I am doing very well as an indoor/outdoor dog and playing with my friend.  I am learning to walk on a leash and my basic commands.  I am house trained and do well in a crate for short periods of time.  I am a very active dog and really like it when the family goes for rides in the country and my lab friend and I get to run all over the place.  I have great recall so am the first to return to my people.   I would really like a place out in the country or away from streets with lots of cars and trucks like where I now live.  I am friendly and socialized and like most people that I meet.  I would like to have a family of adults, with or without children and other pets.  I am spayed, micro-chipped and current on my vaccinations. I am looking for a home where I can continue being a member of the family and going for rides inside their car. I also need a secure fenced yard to keep me safe and from wandering away from home again. Please call Best Friends of Baker at 541-519-7387 for more information or visit our website bestfriendsofbaker.org for an adoption application. Don't wait too long as I am just the perfect size for you. (We do not text)
