They call me Sport since I am so good about anything and everything. I am a handsome young male Border Collie looking for a forever home. Fortunately I was found and rescued by Best Friends of Baker and placed in a foster home. I am now living in a wonderful home with adults and two grade school children.  I also have the opportunity to run and play with five other dogs who are large, small, young and old and getting along with all of them.  I am very friendly and well socialized and am not a constant barker.  I have had very little training so my basic commands and manners are being taught to me from my foster mom.  She is also teaching me how to walk properly on a leash.  I ride well in the back seat of a car, but not in the back of a pickup or truck.  I would like an active family that will allow me to join them in the house and exercise me when we are outside.  I will make a great walking, running or hiking companion and will become your most loyal companion.  I am very smart and eager to please everyone and would do well as a competitor in agility trials, fly ball or obedience.  My veterinarian believes that I am under one year old.  I am current on my vaccinations and will be neutered prior to my adoption.  Please call Best Friends of Baker at 541-519-7387 for more information ( we do not text) or visit our website bestfriendsofbaker.org for an adoption application.
