My name is Mona and I am a young mother Border Collie with ten puppies born August 24 and will soon be ready for adoption. I was found wandering in the hot August heat and taken to Best Friends of Baker for help. Nobody came looking for me so my family and I have settled in at a foster home on a mini-reach with adults, young children, dogs, cats and horses. We are doing very well and soon my five boys and four girls (one has been aspoken for) will be ready to go to new homes. I can't tell you much about myself, except that I am a very healthy and happy female (maybe a mix) that loves to be close to people. We have a very large dog arena where all the dogs get to run and play chase, wrestle or retrieve toys. I am not into much of that as I stay pretty close to my pups. My pups are now eating solid food and only nursing once a day. I lovebeing with people and could easily be described as a velcro dog. I am calm, laid back and enjoy things like going for long walks down the lane and being close to my pups and the people who care for me. I am probably 18 months to 1 year. I will be spayed closer to when the pups start leaving me. I will be a loyal companion to my new family and would like to be part of the familly, invited inside the house to live with my people. I need a secure fence so that I won't wander again, but I do not want to be living outside in the yard looking in at my family. I do not want to be a working ranch dog, but rather be a walking, hiking for running companion. If you would like to learn more about me or my pups, please call Best Friends of Baker at 541-519-7387 or Carmen at 541-519-4530. WE DO NOT TEXT, BUT ANSWER ALL PHONE CALLS AND RESPOND TO ALL COMPLETED APPLICATIONS. You can find an appliiication on this site or with bestfriendsofbaker.org I am waiting to hear from you. THE FIRST FOUR ARE FEMALES, FIVE MALES. SOME LONG HAIR AND SOME SMOOTH COATS.
MONA THE MOTHER HAS BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO GGO TO A WONDERFUL FOREVER HOME WITH TWO LITTLE GIRLS AND THEIR PARENTS. PLEASE CHECK OUR PICTURES WHO IS STILL LOOKNG FOR A WONDERFUL FOREVER HOME.
