DogId: Elizabeth (OR#4393)
Age: 2 yr - 5 yrs
Location: Pendleton, OR
Special Needs: none
Elizabeth came from a (small) hoarding situation. As such, she is somewhat timid, afraid of strangers at first. She has had little socialization, she is used to a remote/rural setting. As is fairly typical of dogs with this background, she comes around and minds well. She is very treat oriented and learns quickly. She has been around kids, cats, horses, other dogs. She will need to be spayed prior to adoption, appears to be in good health and her shots arer up to date.
Experience with Border Collies from this background indicates that they typically respond well to an adopter that doesn't demand a lot initially and brings them along with patience and trust.
