Dakota is a 5 year old neutered male border collie.  This dog has it all...in addition to classic good looks, he is good with older children, other dogs (even small ones), and cats.  He's housetrained and crate trained.  His house manners are excellent and he loves to retrieve.  Dakota is quiet and rarely barks.  He is very easy to live with!

He has been started on sheep and LOVES herding and would be Oh So Very Happy if his new family wanted to continue with his training, but it's not a requirement.  Dakota would be just as happy playing fetch and going for walks and hikes.  He rides well in the car, although gets anxious, so he always rides in his crate.  Dakota is in good health although does need loose a couple of pounds.

This is a dog that requires daily exercise and to spend time with his family.  He is used to being indoors when his people are indoors and is very well behaved.
