Ranger comes to us from the Twin Falls Animal Shelter. We are estimating his age at 2 to 3 years and his weight at about 40 pounds. We would like to thank Vicki R. of Roy, WA for bringing Ranger's plight to our attention and bailing him out of the shelter. Ranger is fairly new to us and we are getting to know him. So far we can tell you he is exceptionally handsome and has a wonderful temperament. He knows how to sit and likes to fetch. Even though he isn't anxious to get in the truck with his foster mom, he does not get car sick and is learning that going for rides can lead to fun adventures! He was very good for his grooming. Although not too sure about the bath, he did seemed to enjoy the brushing and even blow drying! Ranger is now crate trained. He appears to be housetrained, and knows how to sit. He loves to work for a treat or a toy. This boy learns fast! His foster home is already teaching him how to 'shake' and 'speak'. Ranger could be a good candidate for agility or rally obedience. Ranger is fine with other dogs after a proper introduction. He is living with a male and female border collie right now. If you are interested in possibly adopting Ranger, please complete the online application here. In addition, you will be asked to complete a more detailed application for the Idaho Domestic Animal Welfare Group. You must be willing to travel to southwestern Idaho to meet Ranger. Contact Joan at 208-283-9513 or email findadog@hotmail.com for more info. Ranger’s adoption fee is $150, which covers the cost of neuter, vaccinations, microchip, collar and ID tag. |
